In this regard, antique tractors are no longer an end, but a means of providing greater understanding and appreciation of the history our forebears created.

Used Lawn Tractors

Antique garden tractors are primarily mowing machines, powered by ten to twenty horsepower air-cooled gas engines, although a few are available with diesel power. The larger models have hydraulic rockshafts, auxiliary hydraulics for snow blades and throwers, category "0" three-point hitches, and rear PTOs. Garden tractors are designed to be strong enough for use with plows, tillers, snow blowers, etc. Garden tractors are versatile pieces of equipment. It can do a slew of jobs as mowing, tilling, lawn rolling, lamppost hole digging, and many other jobs.

Used Lawn Tractors

Garden tractors are designed to use many different attachments and have the ability to mow your lawn. Lawn Tractors are designed for one thing and that thing is mow. Garden tractors are excluded. Tractors per 1000 Hectares of Cropland are calculated by WRI by dividing the number of tractors in use by the total hectares of arable and permanent cropland. Garden tractors aren't cheap, but well worth the investment. You will pay between ,500 and ,000 depending on the model you purchase.

Antique Garden tractors are generally capable of mounting other implements such as harrows, cultivators/rotavators, sweepers, rollers and dozer-blades. Like ride-on mowers, garden tractors generally have a horizontally mounted engine with a belt-drive to a transaxle-type transmission (usually of 4- or 5-speeds, although some may also have two-speed reduction gearboxes or hydraulic gearboxes). Garden tractors are the most versatile riding mowers. They offer the capability to pull wagons, aerators and many other attachments. Garden tractors are designed to be used once a week, and designed for other uses as well. Attempting to use a garden tractor for commercial use will work, for a while but the tractor will need replaced after the first season or two.

Lawn and garden tractors can also be fitted with a wide range of attachments to turn your tractor into a multi-purpose riding machine. Attach a front blade to clear soil, leaves or other debris, turn it into a snow blower with another attachment or hitch up a trailer to move small loads. Lawn mowers are the essential tool for any gardening enthusiast. With our range of products, taking care of your lawn can be satisfying and fun. Lawn tractors can be a timesaver, but they also take up a lot of room, cost a lot, and pollute. They may also be difficult to repair if they break down, unless you have some way of bringing it to a repair shop.
